Image Upload Guidelines
✅ DOs
-
Use Clear, High-Quality Photos
Blurry or low-res pics lose detail, sharp images always look better on canvas. -
Use Natural or Soft Lighting
Whether it’s a beach view, a pet portrait, or a couple’s photo, avoid dim rooms or flash glare. -
Keep it Simple (Max 3 People or Pets)
Too many subjects can make the painting feel crowded or lose definition. -
Make Sure Key Details Are Visible
Faces, eyes, or key landmarks should be easy to see, not in shadow or super far away.
❌ DON’Ts
-
No Harsh Sunlight or Heavy Shadows
They mess with colors and make details harder to paint, especially on faces and fur. -
Avoid Busy Backgrounds or Group Shots
Clean backgrounds help both people and pets stand out, and make landscapes clearer. -
Don’t Use Dark, Grainy, or Zoomed-In Images
If you have to squint at your pic… it’s probably not the one. -
Skip Overedited or Filtered Pics
Filters might look cool on Instagram, but they can throw off the painting’s colors.
Art That Belongs to You
Photos can fade into the endless scroll of daily life. But when a face is recreated by hand, it earns permanence. A Paint By Numbers Custom People piece becomes part of your space, carrying weight that digital images simply can’t match. It’s art rooted in memory, given form by patience, and shaped by emotion, made by you, for no one else but you.
Customer Reviews

Still in progress but already loving how the face is turning out. The eyes really pop. Some of the smaller areas are a bit tricky, but that’s part of the fun honestly.
Lena Griffith

Okay but WHY did this turn out so cute?? 😂 I was nervous about the skin tones, but it totally captured that little smirk. Took a few sittings but worth every minute!
Tasha Kim

Didn’t expect it to look this accurate. The skin tones blended way better than I thought they would. Honestly proud of how it turned out.
Sierra Vaughn

This came out better than I imagined, you can literally feel the connection between them. Took patience, but seeing it all come together? Kinda magical.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, but for best results, choose a clear, high-resolution image with good lighting. Avoid dark, blurry, or over-filtered photos, they lose detail in the painting.
We recommend a maximum of 3 subjects (people or pets). Too many faces or fine details can get lost when printed on canvas.
Absolutely! Just make sure the photo has strong lighting, contrast, and isn’t too foggy or washed out. Scenic views look amazing when painted clearly.
No worries — you can paint over dry areas with the correct color. If you’re unsure, use the reference sheet included in the kit.
That depends on the canvas size and your pace. Most people finish in 5–15 hours, spread over a few days. It’s meant to be relaxing, not rushed.
Definitely! Once it’s completely dry, you can frame it just like any regular canvas, makes a great gift or home décor piece.
